Katie Adams Katie Adams holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Ithaca College and a massage therapy diploma from the Massage Institute of New England. In 1996, she earned certification in NMT American Version® under the instruction of its founder, Judith DeLany. As a life long dancer, Katie became interested in how massage expedites injury repair. She completed an internship at Melman Chiropractic Group, Boston, and began treating clients at Raftis Physical Therapy Associates in Newton, MA. While continuing to build her private practice, Katie worked at Orthopedic Physical Therapy Services in Wellesley, the Abbott Center for NeuroMuscular Therapy in Westwood, and Myotech Combined Therapies in Dedham, before founding 360 NeuroMuscular Therapy in 2004. What began as an innovative and educational work environment for massage therapy quickly evolved into concrete client-care planning, branding strategy and comprehensive NMT training for therapists. 360 NMT's mission to raise massage industry standards and consumer awareness of NeuroMuscular Therapy continues to evolve via collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals. Katie regularly speaks at medical offices, and she has presented at the New England Baptist Hospital's Sports and Shoulder Symposium. She is a member of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists (NAMTPT), and is honored to develop and teach graduate-level massage therapy curriculum with Stewart Wild. Provider: NMT Master |
