Explanation of Services
Sports Massage
360 NMT offers massage therapy for clients training for specific race events or team sports. We work with you during preparation, training and into the post season, helping muscles recover quickly from strenuous activities and stay ahead of injury. 360 NMT’s Sports Massage sessions combine neuromuscular therapy with sports techniques.
NMT Fundamentals
Addresses trigger points, muscle soreness and flexibility using primary NMT techniques. Our NMT Fundamentals session also includes a brief posture analysis followed by hands-on treatment. It can be a full body or regional treatment, customized to address (and prevent) overuse injuries related to specific activities.
NMT Advanced I
Building upon NMT Fundamentals, NMT Advanced-I offers additional consultation and treatment when needed to uncover the source of muscular-driven pain. These sessions employ more specific NMT techniques combined with stretch recommendations, and are appropriate for prolonged pain cases.
NMT Advanced II
Cases with multiple injury zones and complex histories are recommended to work at the NMT Advanced-II level. These sessions combine advanced NMT manual techniques with corrective range-of-movement. When necessary, basic core strength recommendations are made to re-educate muscle firing patterns.
Insurance
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA’s)
Massage treatments for pain management, injuries, illnesses and stress related conditions are eligible for FSA pre-tax spending. 360 NMT recommends asking for a prescription from your physician. Although not always necessary for FSA approval, a prescription ensures that your treatment will be considered therapeutic and medically necessary. NMT will provide receipts necessary for FSA submission.
Health Insurance
360 NMT does not directly bill insurance. However, we will provide receipts for services to submit for third party insurance billing. Each insurance plan is different, and we encourage clients to file for reimbursement. Even if your claim is declined, each submission increases insurance industry awareness of the medical necessity and proven benefits of receiving massage therapy.
